Blues Foundation Invites Wendy Mason to International Blues Challenge in Memphis
The Blues Foundation has invited Edged In Blue host, Wendy Mason, to attend the International Blues Challenge, in Memphis,TN, Jan.28th – Feb.1, 2020.
Wendy will participate as a Mentor at the IBC Speed Networking Event, meeting with the IBC challengers to share her 30 years of Community Radio experience and will judge at the IBC showcases.
This is not Wendy’s first time to represent KKFI in Memphis. In 2001, Rounder Records hosted a radio panel at the IBC’s, which included Wendy, Bill Wax, the former XM Bluesville DJ, and Bob Porter, WBGO’s Portraits in Blue host.
Wendy is looking forward to hearing blues from around the world on Beale Street, meeting blues lovers and getting the word out about KKFI. Congratulations are in order for Your Girl Friday!
