April 2020 KKFI Upgrades, Here we go!

First steps are underway!
We are very excited to get these upgrades in place at KKFI. We have had to push back on parts of the project due to the COVID-19 Crisis and stay-at-home orders. Other parts of the project are getting moved up in the schedule.
We have begun buying computers and software upgrades, originally scheduled for later phases, that are now needed to run the the station with a barebones staff and essential volunteers. It is not ideal to build these new systems in the middle of a global pandemic, but due to the generosity of so many people, we are able to do this and remain on the air and broadcasting with a high level of quality.
