Linda has been the program host for WomanSong on KKFI 90.1 FM since 1988.
Since 1985 Linda Wilson has also actualized her passion for sharing women’s music by her work with Willow Productions in bringing women musicians and comedians to Kansas City. She has been an active member of the board of directors of CrossCurrents Culture Unlimited for over 20 years.
Linda works as techie and stage-manager at women’s festivals across the country, such as The Michigan Womyn’s Festival, Iowa Women’s Festival,The National Women’s Music Festival and local festivals.
Linda’s win-the-lottery fantasy is to equip a huge semi with a fold-out stage, hire a crew of women, and hit the road to small towns all over the country, reaching those who don’t know about the power and magic of women making music for women.
Linda lives north of the river with her wife Barbara and their aging Cairn Terrier, Cadie.
