Richard’s main objective in the urban arena is to find more ways for people of color to truly understand their environment. As a grass-roots environmental activist in Kansas City, Kansas, he is presenting his philosophy of environmental organizing to neighborhood groups in low income communities by recounting his experiences with ongoing projects on clean energy, efficiency and conservation.
He is also searching for ways to show mainstream America another perspective of what it’s like being black in this country and loving it!
