Tommy Andrade

“A great song should lift your heart, warm the soul and make you feel good.” ― Colbie Caillat

This quote best describes the feeling Tommy gets when listening and playing music. Although a co-host on A Taste of Tejano radio show, Tommy’s musical listening preferences include many different genres and artists, both locally and nationally known. From Aerosmith to Avizo, Mazz to The Moody Blues or Tejano Highway 281 to Tupac, music of all types rounds out his music choices.

Invited to be a co-host on A Taste of Tejano in July of 2018, first with Viviana Frias Medellin and now with Monica Frias Holman, Tommy’s hope with the radio show is to continue to celebrate and entertain with the Tejano music made famous by so many great artists. He wants to give an opportunity for the underrepresented local and national Tejano artists and bands to be heard and appreciated.

When not at the radio station, Tommy is a nurse by profession. He is also a private mobile DJ in his spare time.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, his Mom and Dad, and his extended family and friends.
