Environmental law with Bob Eye

Bob Eye, an Environmental law attorney, joins host Craig Lubow to discuss recent landmark Supreme Court cases relating to the environment.  In West Virginia vs. EPA, the Court rejected the EPA’s Clean Power Plan, a significant setback that will negatively impact both clean air and clean water.  Sackett vs EPA is currently pending in the Supreme Court.  This time its applied to the EPA’s interpretation of the Clean Water Act for purposes of defining “waters of the U.S.”. A ruling against the EPA’s regulation would leave vast areas of the U.S. without CWA protections.  This show airs during our Winter pledge drive, a time to be generous while showing your support for protecting the environment through programming on Eco Radio KC.  Bob previously represented the Kansas Chapter of the Sierra Club.  Bob helped to stop some power plants in landmark cases in the Kansas Courts.
