The Foolkiller Folk collective explores the storytelling, cultural, and protest power of folk music from as far back as the Child Ballads through as current as released today.

All six Foolkiller Folk programmers on air for the fall fund drive with lots of good music and minimal pledge breaks. We’ll have a good time for all this Sunday on Kansas City’s independent, community-based off the beaten path public radio station where it’s all about you, the listener! So tune in. And help the KKFI community keep KKFI on the air. Call in to the show or pledge online now while you’re thinking about it – we have a 100% challenge grant to double your contribution to our show (if you’re pledging online mention Foolkiller Folk in the comments). Any amount is gratefully accepted, but for a $150 contribution, you, too, can be a DJ – with a guest DJ spot on any show you want (guest DJ spots make great gifts, too).
