Jaws of Justice Radio
It is the intention of Jaws of Justice Radio to investigate how to achieve justice in America, this includes issues of economic injustice, political injustice and the criminal justice system. We want to put a human face on those caught in the grasp of injustice and those that are part of an unjust system. We strive to dispel the misconceptions created by the news and entertainment industry, politicians and our educational system.
Addiction and abuse of drugs and alcohol crosses every division we construct within our society, wether it be economic, social or political. The addiction of the homeless veteran and the US Congressman is the same and the process for recovery has the same basic requirements. it is the willingness to admit to ones weakness and the resolve to change ones life that is the starting point.
On today’s shoe Cassandra Mitchell and Liz Henry talk with Royals Hall of Fame Centerfielder Willie Wilson about his journey into drug and alcohol abuse and his recovery. Willie will talk about how being in the public spotlight effected him and how that spotlight helped and hindered his recovery.
