We welcome Dr. Seiglinde C. Othmer to the program to discuss her new book, Adventure New Zealand: Beneath the Totaras, a children’s book which focuses on environmental issues.
In this sequel to “Whims, Wits, and Whiskers,” an artistic troupe of cousins–five dogs and two cats–reunite. Led by Mr. Guinness, they accept an overseas mission to save the kiwis, who are on the verge of extinction. Thanks to the help of an old friend, a squadron of condors flies them across the Pacific Ocean, across the equator, where they are warmly welcomed on a sheep farm in New Zealand. With the help of their hosts, they create an inspiring benefit show to raise awareness.
