AMENDMENT 3 – LEGALIZED ADULT USE OF RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA IS ON THE BALLOT IN MISSOURI ON NOVEMBER 8th

On October 24th, host Terri Wilke speaks with Mark Buddemeyer, Director of Cultivation at Flora Farms, which is dedicated to supplying Missouri’s Medical Marijuana card holders with high quality cannabis products to help manage medical issues and John Payne, Executive Director and Treasurer of Show-Me Cannabis, an association of organizations and individuals who believe that cannabis prohibition is a failed policy.  They will talk about the upcoming adult use marijuana initiative on the November Missouri ballot.

Perhaps regulating cannabis in a manner similar to alcohol would better control the production, distribution, and consumption of cannabis than the current criminal market system does.

Mark is an internationally experienced legal cannabis entrepreneur presenting an extraordinary combination of knowledgeable and innovative solutions to develop, direct, and capitalize on fully integrated cannabis operations – 100% vertical solutions – Laboratory; Cultivation; Medical marijuana-infused manufacturing; and Dispensary retail.

John Payne graduated with a degree in history from Washington University in Saint Louis. While in college, John also served as the treasurer and vice president of Students for a Sensible Drug Policy, demonstrating his longstanding interest in ending destructive prohibitionist policies. In 2018, he managed the successful campaign to legalize medical marijuana in Missouri with the passage of what is now Article XIV of the Missouri Constitution. After the campaign, John formed Amendment 2 Consultants, where he works with numerous licensed marijuana businesses, both in Missouri and across the country, as well as advising further efforts to reform marijuana laws.

Please tune in to hear a serious public discussion about the issues associated with the cannabis consumption, including medical cannabis, industrial hemp, public safety and financial analysis in order to address problems associated with the current, failed policy.

Missouri voters have the opportunity in the November 2022 election to legalize recreational marijuana statewide for adults over 21.

With Election Day less than one month away it is time to consider the pros and cons of Amendment 3, which would legalize recreational marijuana use and expunge some cannabis-related crimes.  We ask voters to properly inform themselves prior to voting.
