Producer/host Maria Vasquez Boyd welcomes writer George Wallace, instrumentalists CR & Z, and artist/author Jenny Hahn.

GEORGE WALLACE is Writer in Residence at the Walt Whitman Birthplace, first poet laureate of Suffolk County, LI NY and author of 40 books and chapbooks of poetry, published in the US, U K, Italy, Macedonia and India. A prominent figure on the NYC poetry performance scene, he travels internationally to perform, lead writing workshops, and lecture on literary topics. A former student of W.D. Snodgrass (BA, Syracuse U) and Marvin Bell (MFA, Pacific U), he teaches writing at Pace University (NYC) and Westchester Community College, and has done research residencies at Harvard’s Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington DC. He has worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer, health care administrator, community organizer, community journalist, active duty medical military officer and local historian. His work is collected at the Special Sections Collection, LI Studies Institute, Hofstra University. George is editor of, co-editor of Great Weather for Media, and editor of Long Island Quarterly and “Walt’s Corner,” a weekly poetry column in The Long Islander, a community newspaper founded by Walt Whitman in 1838. He is editor of the 2022 Blue Light Press Anthology FROM THE INSIDE: NYC through the eyes of the poets who live here.

In 2022, Wallace was named Poet of the Year for the Boao International Poetry Festival in Hainan, China.

CR & Z-The discordant, authentic, automatic union of instrumentalists CR (Reid) and Z (Patrick di Santo). The two are just back  supporting their single “Killjoy” off their third album “Omega”. With domestic performances televised on “Patreon”, “YouTube”, and socials: “TikTok”, “Instagram”

From the US the international penom Case Trick is a collaboration between the frequency artist and researcher 9 (Z) and fellow frequency explorer CR (Reid). Currently supporting the non narrative Michael H. Henderson films in festival circulation. “35 Cents” and its sequel “Suspension”, the third part “Sensorium” is due out in late 2024.

These films explore filmmaking that combines traditional non scripted content “Baraka” and ‘Samsara” by Ron Fricke, with body language and situational environments to support and evoke the story. The dialogue is most often the frequency based concepts of international Nostalgia Core phenomenon Case Trick. Their trending licks “Ti Voglio”, “Break”, “Relief” experimental prose indicates things to come from these virtuosos of media, kicking off their latest exhibit Omega before heading out on tour. JENNY HAHN -I’m Jenny Hahn. My life is my art. I walk the path of artist, teacher, sacred space-holder, and guide in creative reclamation. One of my greatest joys in life is to witness others coming home to their truth and finding their innate creative power. I believe that creativity is our divine birthright, and that accessing it means stepping into one’s unique power and purpose. As a certified mindfulness teacher and co-founder of Creative Nectar Studio, I have led workshops across the country for 15+ years teaching process art as a tool for mindfulness and self-discovery.
