“At the Intersection of Race, Life-Expectancy, & Power” with Seft Hunter

Dr. Seft Hunter, Exec. Director of Communities Creating Opportunity, will share results of a multi-year study examining life-expectancies by zip code. A 13 – 15 year difference occurs in life-expectancy between blacks and whites, residents living east and west of K.C.’s Troost Avenue. Critical issues of race and access to economic opportunity shape these outcomes. Dr. Hunter will make connections to the current political moment and provide pathways for residents and communities of faith to get involved.
