Panelists: Dr. Julianne Malveaux, economist and syndicated columnist; Dr. Gwendolyn Grant, psychologist and columnist for Essence magazine; Dorothy Gilliam, first Black woman columnist for the Washington Post – who was writing a book on racial diversity in the media; and Dr. Niara Sudarkasa, an anthropologist and the first woman president of Lincoln University.
