Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden

tonight- a quick update on the Bradley Manning trial from Nathan Fuller of the Bradley Manning Support Network, and then Ray McGovern talks about the Sam Adams award and why it went to NSA Whistleblower Edward Snowden this year.

 

Nathan Fuller, Campaign Support – Nathan is a New Jersey based writer, editor, and activist. He studied Documentary Film and Journalism at the College of New Jersey, where he edited a political news magazine. He was active in anti-war, LGBT, and social justice efforts for several years before becoming an avid supporter of Bradley Manning, as well as WikiLeaks. He believes the material Bradley is credited with releasing warrants all the support we can provide. Nathan creates and edits campaign materials, and assists with national special events.

 

Sam Adams Associates for Integrity in Intelligence, an organization of former national security officials, has honored NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, praising his decision to reveal the extent of U.S. government electronic surveillance of people in the United States and around the world.

Edward Snowden, an ex-contractor for the National Security Agency, has been named recipient of this year’s award for truth-telling given by Sam Adams Associates for Integrity in Intelligence, the group announced Monday.
