Songwriting Award Winner and Iowa native Chad Elliott returns to Kansas City this week as the guest of Pastor Carl Butler’s Wednesday Night church service in The Gospel Lounge at Knuckleheads. Chad is a hard working, well-traveled troubadour supporting a wonderful young family with an extensive catalog of songs that span nearly all the genres included under Americana Music’s umbrella – folk, blues, country and rock. Also featured on this edition of The Tasty Brew are many of the artists nominated this past week for Grammys in the Americana Music category — Rosanne Cash, John Hiatt, Sturgill Simpson and Nickel Creek.
