Greta Thunberg‘s speech to the French National Assembly on July 23rd 2019, and Kelsey Juliana‘s keynote address to the Pacific Forest Trust on April 10th 2019 express the reasoning and the demands young people are making that adults understand the climate crisis and their responsibility to the future to act at once.

Sixteen-year-old Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg is the renowned child activist from Sweden who called forth the school strike movement for climate. She explains the atmospheric carbon and the Paris Agreement. Kelsey Cascadia Rose Juliana, now 23, is the lead plaintiff in the constitutional climate lawsuit Juliana v. United States. She gives a history of what the US knew about Co2 and climate change since the 1950s and how since the ’80s C02 has continued to rise and climate disaster has followed.
