In 2022, she completed publishing her memoir, “Travel North Black Girl” – a story exploring her journey of growing up in Kansas City, MO, in an abusive environment, getting married at a young age and traveling to an indigenous village in Alaska. Kansas City musician Zee Underscore moved from Cincinnati Ohio to the Kansas City metro area where she grew accustomed to change. Her authentic nature reminds people to let go of who you think you’re supposed to be and embrace who you are. Zee is interviewed to help understand her mindset, her beliefs and her plans to become the best version of herself!
