This week on the Heartland Labor Forum, we ask an organizer and a lawyer: are Smithfield and other meat and poultry plants a danger to their workers and the public? Then, as debate in the labor movement rises over the power of police unions, we ask esteemed writer/activist Bill Fletcher why he says, “it’s not the police unions, it’s repression by police that is the central issue”.
