Lester E Blue, Jr., Ph.D., is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice. He treats adults with various mental health concerns; also, he works with clients on personal growth. Dr. Blue earned a B.A. in Psychology from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and a M.A. and Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri at Columbia. A life-long Kansas City resident, he has served on several non-profit boards, including the boards of Bishop Hogan High School (his alma mater), Project Equality, and High Aspirations. One of his greatest joys is teaching an adult Sunday School class at Friendship Baptist Church.

Lester E Blue Jr. is specialized in psychological testing and evaluating or assessing patient’s personal characteristics, such as intelligence, personality, abilities, interests, aptitudes, and neuropsychological functioning. Accordingly, he performs counseling, psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, hypnosis, biofeedback, and behavior analysis and therapy. He can diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorder or disability, alcoholism and substance abuse, disorders of habit or conduct, as well as of the psychological aspects of physical illness, accident, injury, or disability by psycheducational evaluation, therapy, remediation, and consultation.
