“Easing” into KKFI’s Fall Pledge Drive with The Bard Owls

Chris Hudson and Chad Brothers of The Bard Owls join Host Diana Linn to help raise some rent for KKFI during the Fall Pledge Drive and to introduce songs from their latest recording “The Easing.”  The Bard Owls are a local Kansas City Acoustic band created and named by Chris Hudson and Sam Wright of Gullywasher.  This latest recording made over the internet during the Winter of 2021 was mixed by Chris Hudson and mastered by Duane Trower of Weights and Measures Studio.  The Easing includes contributions from some of Kansas City’s best musicians from multiple genres including Kristin Hamilton, Jason Beers, Jeremy Clark, Travis Feldman and Devon Teran.

Also featured on this show will be brand new music released by local artists The Nite Owls, Nicole Springer and Jim Winters (Three Trails West) and more Americana/Roots favorites from all over the Country.
