For the past ten years or so, more and more troubadours, garage bands and musicians of all genres are moving to, recording in and hanging out in funky East Nashville. Todd Snider moved there saying it is the closest thing to emulating the lightning in a bottle era that was the early 1970’s Austin, Texas Music scene. Host of Sirius XM Outlaw Country Radio Program Apron Strings and Singer/Songwriter extraordinaire Elizabeth Cook and hubby Tim Carroll also now call East Nashville Home. This week’s Tasty Brew Edition of Your Tuesday Morning Buzz will feature artists from many of East Nashville’s Americana scene including selections from East Nashville Christmas, a record whose sale proceeds will benefit the National Health Care for the Homeless Council. And fair warning, there is lots of pedal steel, banjo and mandolin and non-traditional holiday music in this week’s show. Enjoy the links!
