Then after years of inaction to expand Medicaid by the Missouri Legislature, the voters took matters in their own hands and passed it. But it’s still a fight to get Medicaid to the people. Sheldon Weisgrau is VP of Health Policy at the Missouri Foundation for Health. He’ll explain why its such a struggle to get healthcare to hard-working low income Missourians.
