Ensuring Your Well-Being with Robert J. Wicks, Ph.D.

As a professor and clinical psychologist who works with people in the helping professions–physicians, teachers, psychologists, ministers, rescue workers–who are most in danger of burnout or traumatic stress, Robert Wicks has made many discoveries on how we can live our fleeting days with meaning, peace, compassion, and contentment. He says, “When I see people I don’t want them to have trust in me; I want them to pick up my trust in them. It is really a sense of what is important and I think that faithfulness, if I focus on that rather than my ego, then wonderful things happen.” This dialogue is full of many gems to help us recover our focus on what is truly important and essential in life. His reflections include many unforgettable stories that will live in your heart for years to come. (hosted by Michael Toms)
