Racquel Rodriguez is a local entrepreneur, and owner of El Café Cubano, a mobile Cuban Coffee Café that brings the flavors of Cuba to Kansas City. Racquel is deeply inspired by her Cuban culture and the rich culinary heritage of her roots. She visits Cuba several times yearly, and immerses herself in her grandmother’s recipes, learning the art of crafting traditional Cuban coffee.
Her entrepreneurial endeavor aims to embody the flavors of the island and serve as a bridge to its cultural heritage. Authentic Cuban coffee is a fusion of flavors and history that is unique to the island nation. Racquel’s passion for sharing this cultural experience led her to establish El Café Cubano, filling the void of authentic Cuban coffee in her hometown Kansas City.
El Café Cubano is a tribute to Racquel Rodriguez’ Cuban heritage and a joyful celebration of the art of coffee-making that has been passed down through generations. Her product is intended to narrate a story of cherished traditions and the spirit of togetherness. Authentic Cuban recipes and techniques are used with focus on meticulous craft and dedication. Racquel’s mission is to introduce the vibrant flavors and the rich cultural heritage of Cuban coffee to our local area. El Café Cubano is a celebration of history and a heartfelt homage to Racquel’s ancestors.
