We will be talking with Katie Hildebrand, A member of the Kansas City chapter of Democratic Socialists of America, Angelica Wilcox, Democratic Socialists of America Admin Committee member and former KC DSA co-chair, Elise Higgins, Vice President of the Kansas Abortion Fund, and Michele Landeau,Board President of the Missouri Abortion Fund. We will be discussing the amazing work these folks have been doing and the services their organizations provide. The both the Missouri and Kansas Abortion funds are members of The National Network of Abortion funds. The Kansas Abortion fund states that “As supporters of choice, we have watched options for reproductive healthcare eroded through government action. The heaviest attack has been on people in crisis who don’t have the financial means to pay for an abortion or emergency contraception.”
