This week we welcome to the show a veteran Tour Manager and Coordinator of 20+ years, the talented and tough as nails Misty Roberts. During Misty’s time on the road she has been pivotal in opening up the conversation regarding mental health in touring and is proud to be the founding member of the Women In Touring Summit. Through her involvement she continues to advocate for change in the touring industry on behalf of the 1,800 members of the group.
During the pandemic Misty has been feeding her creative side by creating and being involved in several podcasts. She is heavily involved with with mental health and substance abuse professionals on the weekly webinar I’m With the Crew which addresses mental resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Misty also hosts the Tales From Seat 4A podcast– providing interviews with industry heavy hitters in the creative fields of comedy, music touring and movie production as well as a daily pop culture podcast called Misty and Ike.
