Join us this Saturday the 6th when we will have a great conversation with two amazing women, Amanda Arany and Sierra Berry. Amanda and Sierra are both activists and members of the Theatre community fund in Kansas City. We will chat with them about the work they do with the organization and what it means to take up space and be vocal to help those that need to be seen.

Amanda Arnay

Amanda (she/her) is a queer Hunga-Rican theatre administrator and technician based out of Kansas City. Amanda’s journey as an artist-administrator is focused on supporting the humanity at the center of the art, and doing the work to ensure safe, compassionate, & efficient spaces for that creativity to thrive. She received her B.A. in Theatre from Florida State University and currently works on the artistic staff at Kansas City Repertory Theatre. Amanda also serves on the executive board of directors + is a founding board member of the Theatre Community Fund of Kansas City (TCF), supporting local theatre artists in times of hardship and financial distress.

Sierra Berry
Sierra Berry is a local actor and performer, born and raised in Kansas. She graduated from UMKC with her BA in Theatre Performance and since then has been navigating life as a working artist. She is very passionate about outreach in the theatre and film community, as a disabled black woman, representation is one of her biggest priorities, not just for herself, but for others who lack the representation they deserve. Her biggest goal, aside from working with Regina King and Chris Evans, is to make the arts more accessible, to not just see but to be apart of!
