EcoRadio KC is a magazine show, including live segments, prerecorded stories, and interviews. The weekly explores our interdependence with the rest of the world, showing the connections between the ways we choose to live and the health of the whole community of life.
On EcoRadioKC, host Brent Ragsdale welcomes guests Lee Gum and Russell Gray. Both are active with the KC Extinction Rebellion Movement. Lee and Russell will give us a history of the XR Movement and explain their actions on a global, national, state and local level. Why are people concerned enough to get arrested? What are XR’s demands? What actions have occurred? What actions are planned?
It appears that anthropogenic climate and ecological disruption are core issues creating division around the world. How do we bring people together to acknowledge the problems and start to develop solutions?
