Much has been written about the Trump tax cuts and their effects on the federal budget, as well as the economy, but what is less known is how those tax changes have affected the budgets of States, whose tax laws are expected to stay in sync with the Federal. Join us on the Heartland Labor Forum as we talk to the Missouri Budget Project and the Kansas Center for Economic Growth about the issues state lawmakers are dealing with to balance this year’s budgets.
