Eyewitness Accounts Of The Aftermath of the Michael Brown Shooting
The killing of an unarmed black teeager by a white officer in Ferguson has sparked almost two weeks of protest and daily clashes between the police and the protestors. This incident and the violence it has caused has drawn the attention of the world press and comparisons with clashes in other parts of the world.
Today hosts Keith Brown El and Allie Catherine Bush will talk with State Representative Brandon Ellington and former Criminal Defense Investigator Winifred Varner-Jamieson about what they saw when they went to Ferguson. We will also have Ron Hampton, Executive Director of the National Black Police Association on to talk about what he has seen and his assessment of the police response to the protests.
