The Foolkiller Folk collective explores the storytelling, cultural, and protest power of folk music from as far back as the Child Ballads through as current as released today.

Last month the folk music and arts festival FolkEast was held in the parkland of Glemham Hall in Suffolk, England. We didn’t get to go, but we did manage to acquire the music, and now we get to bring it to you, You’ll be hearing from Melrose Quartet, Fay Hield, Folk Detectives, Granny’s Attic, Windjammer, Nick Hart & Tom More, Peter Knight’s Gigspanner, Sarah Smout, Angeline Morrison and Nick Duffy, Jennifer Reid, Maddie Morris, Malin Lewis, Sam Carter, Drystones, The Goblin Band, Mishra & Deepa Shakthi, Katherine Priddy, Hedera, and Bof!
AND we have a pair of Walnut Valley (Winfield) Festival full festival tickets to give away! Winfield is the home of the National (and International) Bluegrass Championships plus four stages with sets from over 30 performers, providing 200+ hours of music over 4 days, with nationally and internationally recognized performers, and a large campground just a 5- minute walk from interior stages with plenty of campground jamming. The Festival will be held September 18-22 in Winfield KS.
