Each week the Pacifica Radio Archives chooses a program "From the Vault" of broadcasts in a half-hour program.
A shelf of old recordings from the San Diego Folk Festival has been unearthed from the Pacifica Radio Archives including folk music, including country blues, 1950’s country western, African and reggae. The musicians performing at the festival including some amazing names like Rose Maddox, Patsy Montana, Lydia Mendoza, and The Balfa Brothers.
