World Sound Radio provides a window on the world of popular and traditional music not heard on other broadcast media in the Kansas City area. It also provides a unique service airing live, international world music artists who visit the metropolitan area.
Tom welcomes virtuoso, Gerald Trimble to the KKFI studio. Gerald plays a 17th Century Viola da Gamba and connects cultures across the years and the miles. Gerald will be playing with Rebecca Bell, harpsichordist, on the Ruel Joyce Recital Series at Johnson County Community College on Monday, September 24, 2012, at noon in the Recital Hall of Carlsen Center.
