The All Souls Unitarian Universalist Forum, Kansas City's longest ongoing conversation, has offered a platform for the discussion of significant issues since 1943.
Wayne Besen, author of Anything but Straight and founder of “Truth Wins Out,” has been journalistically covering “conversion therapy” (CT) for over a decade. CT is a controversial practice for trying to change sexual orientation. Its media coverage is also controversial. Through the generosity of Friends of Community Media, Mr. Besen will explore the bias and hypocritical media coverage associated with conversion therapy.
