Girls’ Future in Uganda

Women in Uganda’s Parliament are passing new laws that aim to protect children and women, and improve conditions at home, school and work; however, implementation with limited funding is a problem. Rebuilding society once it falls apart is a tall order. Uganda’s efforts are being studied by other African countries. One important element is involving men in the campaign.

Featured speakers: Ugandan Member of Parliament and the Chairperson of the Parliament committee of gender labor and social development, Hon. Kabahenda Flavia Rwabuhoro; Ngelecha Lyndah ” a teenage girl from Uganda who advocates for girls’ safety.
