Affordable housing was a major issue in the mayor’s race. That’s due in part to a new group in town – KC Tenants. We’ll hear from them this week on the Heartland Labor Forum. Also, some people think that Congress is morally bankrupt, but the Poor People’s Campaign wants them to pass a Moral Budget: you know, one that actually cares more for the needy rather than the needs of defense contractors.
