Kyle Mohr joins Joe Ballegeer to discuss how unemployment is understood in the United States. Kyle is a PhD student in economics at the University of Missouri Kansas City, a Research Scholar at the Economic Democracy Initiative at Bard College, and Research Fellow at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity. Kyle provides insights on how we measure unemployment and what we might learn more by being better able to understand and interpret the different measures of unemployment appearing in the media.
