WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.
A lively history of International Working Women’s Day’s origin, its eclipse in the US, and its revival in the 1960’s. The day is now better known as International Women’s Day – or IWD, for short. Program ends with a collage of voices of women (and some men) marking International Women’s Day and the week leading up to it, in Cameroon.

Female police officer Agbur Ambang Helen, a member of the Association of Police Women’s Wives, which brought food to prisoners, and one of the men they visited. Two men: The Governor of the West Region, Awa Fonka Augustine, and Essama Joseph, who works for the elections body in the West. Regina Ngangwana, regional coordinator for the empowerment of rural women. A participant in the Marchpast that was viewed by First Lady Mrs. Chantal Biya — the Minister of Women’s Empowerment.
