The Tuesday MidDay Medley is a mix of Jazz-Fusion, "Funk" (not funk!) and old school R&B with an emphasis on bands with tight rhythm sections and dynamic horn sections.

The show, hosted by Barry Jackson, includes interviews with local, national and internationally-renowned artists on a regular basis. Barry has had the pleasure of interviewing such artists as the founding members of the Tower of Power, George Duke, Jean Luc Ponty, Tiger Okoshi, Billy Cobham and many others.

On the next Tuesday Midday Medley,I’ll have a conversation with trumpet player,bandleader and composer Greg Adams.
Adams and his band,East Bay Soul,will be headliners at the Jazz In The Woods
Festival,June 14th.
Adams,a founding member and chief horn arranger of the Tower Of Power,talks candidly about his early years with TOP,
and the formation of his current band,East Bay Soul,and he also talks about how the listen public help produce the
band’s current CD,”East Bay Soul 2.0″.
