Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre
Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre presents new performances of classic radio plays of intrigue, mystery, suspense, and comedy from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s in rotation with a 10-part original historical drama written by local playwright, actor, and director Forrest Attaway. Featuring local actors and musicians and hosted by actors John Rensenhouse, Cinnamon Schultz, and Walter Coppage.
The dominoes start to fall in “Blood,” episode 8 of the historical radio epic, “Kansas City: 1924.” As the effects of a crackdown are felt throughout the city, reality comes crashing into fantasy and tensions rise as everyone looks for someone to blame… and someone to hurt.
Written by Forrest Attaway and featuring Rusty Sneary, Matt Schwader, Bri Woods, Katie Hall, Chioma Anyanwu, Kyle Dyck, Jerry Mañan, Jan Rogge, Mark Robbins, Mike Ott, Katie Gilchrist, Ellen Kirk, Jen Mays, Sam Cordes, Scott Cordes, Victor Raider-Wexler and host Cinnamon Schultz. Directed by Victor Raider-Wexler with Sound Direction and Design by Jonathan Robertson.
