Ryan Jones, Historian at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, TN, gave the keynote address at a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. The address was entitled, “Dr. King at the Mountaintop: a Drum Major for Peace”. It summarized King’s life and times. The event was held at Johnson County Community College.
