Mary Fahl

Our guest this week on Art of the Song is Mary Fahl. She’s known for her work as lead singer of the chamber-pop group October Project in the mid-1990s, and more recently for her solo singing and acting career. As a solo artist, Mary has released several compelling albums, including a re-working of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” and an original studio album, The Other Side of Time. In 2014, Mary teamed up with producer John Lissauer, who also produced Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” for her fifth full-length album, Love & Gravity. She also wrote the theme song, “Exiles: The Wolves of Midwinter,” for the audiobook version of Anne Rice’s novel. We visited with Mary Fahl as a part of our series, Art of the Song LIVE from Caffe Lena.
