Dr. Rock & Mr. Prog
Two programmers alternate weeks: Dr. Rock hosts Rock and Roll Graveyard episodes and Mr. Prog hosts ProgNosis episodes. Enjoy 2 aspects of great rock music!
A couple times each year we air a show consisting exclusively of live-in-concert tracks — not only because of the high energy level that these recordings offer, but because they serve to convey the terrific musicianship that players in the prog-rock genre possess (by being able to effectively execute such complicated material without the benefit of studio wizardry). The next show will feature prog acts from the 70’s through just last year, all live performances; while you’ll know some of them, you probably won’t be at all familiar with a few of the modern-day prog upstarts that are helping to keep the genre vibrant.
