Missouri state Representative Emily Weber summarizes her perspective
of what happened in the Missouri state House of Representatives this
year. She is interviewed by Radio Active Magazine regular Pat Riehle.
Weber, a Democrat, represents Missouri state House district 24, which very roughly runs north from the Country Club Plaza to I-70 and from State Line to Troost or from Southwest Trafficway to Troost north of 31st St., with deviations on both sides of Troost. Weber replaced Judy Morgan in 2021 after Morgan was termed out.
In the 2020 election, Weber won 70 percent of the vote in the primary and 90 percent in the general election. Last year, she was unopposed.
In this session she has served on five committees:
- Economic Development
- General Laws
- Utilities
- Joint Committee on Agriculture
- Agriculture Policy, Ranking Minority Member
