Jaws of Justice Radio
It is the intention of Jaws of Justice Radio to investigate how to achieve justice in America, this includes issues of economic injustice, political injustice and the criminal justice system. We want to put a human face on those caught in the grasp of injustice and those that are part of an unjust system. We strive to dispel the misconceptions created by the news and entertainment industry, politicians and our educational system.
Last month Melvin Merritt talked with Darrn Brown about his life as a neglected child that grew up to be a drug dealer, convicted felon and reformed into a motivational speaker. Now we get the rest of the story, That is the story of his wife Tonya Brown who through her faith in God came to see the good in her husband and her struggle to turn him around. She is a woman who is very accomplished in her own right and presents the side of the story we seldom hear.

Then in the second part of our show Melvin returns to talk with Carol Williams and a case of mistaken identity that doesn’t go away. Carol has been arrested over and over again for the crimes of another woman with the same name. When the system even went as far as to tie her Social Security number to the crimes and convictions of this other woman she was no longer able to get employment and housing. This is cautionary tale we all need to hear.
