Part 1 of today’s program has Gene Chavez of “Nuestra Herencia” interviewing the founder of the Latino Arts Foundation, Diana Munoz. “The Latino Arts Foundation brings forth the fiercely authentic voice of underrepresented and under resourced Latino communities through art, culture, cultural identity and diverse stories creating space OF our communities FOR our communities” (https://www.lafkc.org/).

In Part 2, Leslie of “Core Conversations” talks to “Urban Hikes KC” founder Lisa Peña (https://urbanhikeskc.com/). Lisa has been highlighted in “Travel + Leisure”, “Meet in the Middle ” (You Tube Series), “Kansas City Magazine”, “One Tank Trips”, “KCUR” and the podcast “Within the Realm”. Lisa will discuss her business “Urban Hike KC” as well as her experiences as a Peace Corps volunteer working in South America. Urban Hike KC provides 4 to 5 mile long walks (that may include many hills) which explore diverse communities in either downtown Kansas City, MO, or Kansas City, KS.
