ON EXPLORATIONS – Dr. Greg Stock of UCLA talks about the future of bioengineering.

Movers and shakers are the guests on Explorations!

In this episode, first Dr. Michio Kaku answers his emails.  Listeners had questions about movies pertaining to Alan Turing and Stephen Hawking.  Science and the history of scientific events are very interesting to learn.

Next, Michio Kaku speaks with Greg Stock, author of Redesigning Humans.  Stock is an American biophysicist, best-selling author, biotech entrepreneur, and the former director of the Program on Medicine, Technology and Society at UCLA’s School of Medicine. His interests lie in the scientific and evolutionary as well as ethical, social and political implications of today’s revolutions in the life sciences and in information technology and computers.  How far should we go to push genetic engineering?  Should we only eliminate disease or should we create scientific super humans?

How accurate is the Imitation Game?
