We will replay the New Years Show from 2022. Michio Kaku talks about the omicron virus, remember that? Omicron is a variant of SARS-CoV-2 first reported to the World Health Organization in 2021. It spread to become the predominant variant in circulation around the world. This is followed by talk about fusion in China and the desire to have fusion power. Next, Prof. Kaku references the fact the Webb space telescope had been launched and he closed his hour with a few words about breakthroughs in Alzheimer’s disease.
Exploration is an hour-long radio program on science, technology, politics, and the environment.
