RadioActive Magazine will host James Owen, Executive Director of Renew Missouri, along with their Kansas
City Regional Director, Alissa Greenwald. Renew Missouri was founded in 2006 in Columbia, Mo. to advance
renewable energy and energy efficiency in Missouri. We will explore the status of the 2008 Renewable Energy
Standard passed by initiative petition, the Grain Belt Express, a multi-state transmission line for Kansas wind
power, prospects for the development of renewable energy in Missouri, along with Renew Missouri’s ongoing
advocacy with the Missouri Public Service Commission and the Missouri legislature.
