The Wyandotte County, Kansas District Attorney’s office has asked the Vera Institute of Justice to help them understand and address racial inequities in the local criminal legal system. As part of their work, they have looked at data from the local jail and D.A. Dupree’s office to measure and describe racial disparities in the system. Join host, Bob Grove, D.A. Mark Dupree, and staff from the Vera Institute of Justice to discuss what they have learned and where they go from here.
